Acting Master Class Saturday, February 25! Led By Diane Venora

FOR INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED ACTORS ONLY, 17 YEARS AND OLDER

Diane Venora is a leading stage, television and film actress who attended the Juilliard School on  scholarship.  She has performed Shakespeare extensively, starring in Joseph Papp’s production of Hamlet at the New York Shakespeare Festival. She was the first American to play the title role at the prestigious showcase. She has a long history with Hamlet, playing Ophelia opposite Kevin Kline and Gertrude onscreen opposite Ethan Hawke.  TV credits include Law & Order, Chicago Hope, NCIS and Grey’s Anatomy.  Film credits include Heat with Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino, Romeo+Juliet with  Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, and The Insider with Russell Crowe, Al Pacino and Christopher Plummer.

This FULL Day workshop will include a variety of acting techniques Diane has collected from her early years at Julliard to her success on Broadway and in headlining films.  She will incorporate her experience working with Patsy Rodenburg (National Theatre Co), David Mamet, and Cicely Berry (Royal Shakespeare Co).   Students must come prepared with a one-minute monologue.

Registration Fee: $65 for 7-hour interactive workshop
